TT-33, M1A1 Bazooka and updates for the M1911 and MG34 - For the mini-game inspired on CoD Zombies and L4D
Hello everyone. It's me Antony, back with another Blog here to start 2023. I know I've been absent for a while without a new Blog. I've been studying for an upcoming civil service exam - scheduled for January 15, 2023. Now that the job contract at the public health center has ended, I'm going to have all the time to study, do my personal things like Blender, Unity, literary works and finding a new job in the meantime. Yet, the town hall from where I live is calling more candidates qualified from the selective process to work at the health center. There's a chance they will call me to work at that place one more time. Who knows? Also, I'm waiting to be called to work as a teacher by the Government's selective process I assigned for a while. Both are great in case I'd receive some payment for my services and skills.
And as always, new Nightwave intermission chapter is on and some of the challenges are locked due to my current stage - especially those that involves the Zariman. I must play the New War to unlock the Angels of Zariman in order to unlock these challenges.
Disregarding Warframe, let's go to the important thing here in this Blog. For today, I'm going to show the new renders of the firearms I was working on Blender for the mini-game inspired on Call of Duty Zombies and Left 4 Dead.
Tula Tokarev TT-33:
The TT-33 was my second handgun for the mini-game. At first, I planned to make the Luger P08 or the Walther P38, but I decided to make a second Soviet weapon to complete the PPSh-41. I also plan to make the Mosin Nagant or the SVT-40 rifle to supplement the American M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, or the German Karabiner 98k.
For the TT-33, I made it from the M1911 pistol as a separate project file since the Soviet pistol was based on the M1903 Browning pistol built in Belgium. Some adjustments were made on its barrel, hand grip, magazine, sights and hammer. On the 'leather / wooden' grip, I included the iconic Soviet Star, with the letters CCCP (USSR in Russian) missing, but I'll make them.
M1A1 Bazooka:
The M1A1 Bazooka is my first anti-tank weapon made on Blender. I started it for a while while the first images being rendered in December 21, 2022. Along the Bazooka, I also started the Panzerschreck - the German copy of the Bazooka. That weapon will be covered for another Blog.
The Bazooka looks interesting, although some components are missing like the rocket and the wiring system that links the trigger to the weapon's fuse. I plan to include the Bazooka in the mini-game, despite appearing at some maps for taking down a swarm of zombies or heavy armored monsters and the limited ammo (I guess I'll apply the MG / Special weapons role to it in order to avoid making it too OP). For other games I plan to make - inspired on Battlefield, CoD, H&G (Heroes & Generals), Enlisted, HLL (Hell Let Loose), Post Scriptum and others; the Bazooka and other anti-tank weapons (PIAT, Panzerschreck, PTRD-41, PTRS-41, Panzerbüchse 39, Granatbüchse 39 and others) will be designated for demolisher / tank buster classes.
Colt M1911A1 Pistol:
The M1911A1 Pistol received some minor adjustments on its wooden grip to make a bit thicker. After that, I'll re-import it to Unity, unless I'd remake its UV Mapping and texture to give some metal scratches or markings.
The German MG34 received a small adjustment on its muzzle and grip base. It's still in development, despite the pace is pretty slow. I'll include its sights, ammo belt holder, plate cover, the operating rod and the bipod.
Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoy it. I'll be back with more Blogs in this year - if nothing change in order to make me occupied like job, studies and civil service exams. I plan to share more artworks and other things I did in my time. Until the time comes, you will be surprised to see it. See you next time.
